I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews about the first version of Maybelline Fit Me! that it was very dewy and it does not last long and so now that Maybelline launched a matte version of it, so I thought, “why not try it?”

Here’s the Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation

I bought this online so I wasn’t paid for this review, owkeeey?!

I got 3 shades, 110 Porcelain which I assume is the lightest shade they have, 322 Warm Honey which is a deeper shade, and of course, my shade 228 Soft Tan.

I got these shades so that I can just mix it whenever I need a shade somewhere in between.

With the container, I find it fine although it doesn’t have a pump so you don’t have much control with how much product will go out. I poured the product to a mixing plate and got more than what I just need so I suggest using a spatula.

It wasn’t so thick like what I expected and was not even that watery, so it’s just fine.

It claims to be matte, and it actually sticks to its word. LOL

The coverage is from medium to heavy.

I actually find it blend-able, unlike what other bloggers claim that it dries quickly. But it still is better to blend it faster.

So, now let’s see the powders! Shall we?

I already used it before even taking a photo so there was already a dry area. Sorry!

I like how it was packaged. Since it’s square and flat, I can stack them together or side by side which saves much space in my kit.

Honestly, I was disappointed when I opened it because I thought it was also square inside which, I assumed, would take up the whole space. BUT I WAS WRONG!!! LOL

I like the texture of the powder since it is felt-like. It has also good coverage.

I prefer using a sponge when applying the powder because it tends to just be another layer of your face when applying it with a powder brush.

I tried using the liquid foundation without the powder, and apparently, I liked it better than setting it with a powder. And the longevity of it is not bad. I used it at around 11am and it’s still there around 10pm but you can see some areas are already shiny.

It is better to use a round kabuki brush when applying the liquid foundation and a sponge when using the powder.

Mayette make-over

This was like 2 weeks ago.
We were at my boyfriend’s place and got nothing to do.
We were just watching with his yayas and thinking of what game we can play (so child like). I then realized that my train cases were in his room and decided to put makeup on one of his yayas. My boyfriend then got my traincase and we started to give her a make-over. This is yaya Mayette with her before and after photo.

Hope you enjoy! 😀
Keep posted for more makeup photos.
